Friday -- May 5th by Ravisha Peons clear SSC (twice ok so it isn't a complete fluke)! I'm a little late getting the picture up but last week we took down Lady VaJayJay. Once we got the whole kiting thing down we were good to go and the fight was pretty fun! We also stuck our heads into Mount Hyjal and killed the first boss whose name I don't even know. Why I do the updates for this website when I am a WoW moron is a mystery. Anyways it died and then we died. It was a nice change of pace though and we'll plow through there Peons style in style soon.
Wednesday -- March 12th by Ravisha We gotta slow this PVE train down because I am running out of stuff to say. I would like to point out the incredibly hot bear in the pic below. Sluggo, keep on working out and looking for that special cub to share your life with. So ya, Solarian was a total puss and we got a couple swings on KT, enough to see the fight. Good fight Peons!
Tuesday -- March 11th by Ravisha The air was warm that night. The cries of distant monsters, thirsting for our blood, rang in our ears as we prepared for battle. Torchlight glinted off the steel of our sharpened weapons as the casters endowed us with their enhancement spells. Suddenly the warriors quieted, eager for the motivational voice of their leader, Auzaz, to bless them with wisdom for the upcoming fight. "Do you drink your own urine YES NO" It was a pivotal moment. Then we killed Al'ar. End of Story.
Wednesday -- March 5th by Ravisha We've made nice progress in SSC and just have Lady Pajama's left to take down. Once we master the art of copy and paste and macro making I think we'll be good. So far passing a core is on the same par as cube clicking. I know we'll get it soon. If not maybe Matt can show us how he gets two shot by VashJay again. Leo was a fun fight and easy fight. Tuesday -- June 26th by Ravisha We've started a new schedule of 2-3 nights of 25 man raiding. Last night we ventured for the second time into Tempest Keep and had a run at Void Reaver. Got him to 27% and I'm confident it won't be long till his kickass motorcycle mount drops! Peons accomplishments to date:
We're all progressing through Karazhan, downing Prince, getting gear, playing in the arenas and having a grand time. After a few false starts in the past month we one shot Maulgar and Gruul! Gratz to Sluggo who is a complete loot whore and managed to snag some nice pieces. High on success we trekked over to Magtheridon's Lair. We managed to take down some trash but just didn't have the heals necessary. We'll be back terminator style. I heard Zawn took a SS so I'll throw that up when I track it down....hear that Zawn, I'M COMING FOR YOU!
Tuesday -- February 6th by Erturco BC has launched since our last update, and we've all been very busy grinding our way to 70 and gearing out for the new instances. In more exciting news, our first expeditionary group into Karazhan has downed the first two bosses and gotten some very nice items. The one-handed mace with 299 healing is especially boner-inducing, and went to Cliarna. I'll get some screenshots up tonight as we venture back into Karazhan! Wednesday -- May 3rd by Erturco Last minute additions to the calendar -- More BWL! After Ony tonight and tomorrow we'll go back in and clear Vael and get on to Broodlord. See you there, suckas! Tuesday -- May 2nd by Erturco Wow, what a quirky server night. We ninja-ran our MC raid into BWL real fast to dispatch the laggiest Razorgore fight ever, but it ended up being one of the cleanest I've ever seen. Friggin' amazing. Then, off to MC to kill, wipe to lag, crash, get back in just in time to loot, kill shit, and then zip through the rest. I love blizzard, they sure know how to add challenge to the game! N ice loots tonight, several weapons dropped (2 from Garr, w00t). Grats too all, see you for Ony tomorrow! Monday -- April 10th by Erturco Overall good job this weekend on MC, especially the newer players. Keep an eye on the calendar, as we are working on bringing a few people up to speed on scheduling the 40-man raids and such. This means we'll try to keep 2 weeks at a time scheduled. The tentative plan is to have 2 40-man raids a week and at least 1 20-man. We also plan on at least one PvP night a week to keep people up in ranks. Questions/concerns can be posted in the guild discussion forum and we'll try to answer them as best as we can while the system is in process. Oh, and we all suck and have thrash blades. Wednesday, March 12th by Erturco We pirated the Alliance Trade Routes last night, with several key highlights (and a lowlight -- 1 DK, stupid civilians). We saw a VoA Priest in lots of transcendence thrown overboard in the dark water at the zoneline, and several bugged out alliance due to those hilarious Mind Control bugs. In other news, BWL is nearly ours! With our casual attitude about raiding that place, we've made some serious progress. Vael at 9%, which I think will be no problem to down with some minor adjustments. There is some hawt lesbian ZG action tonight, and Friday night is Ony/BWL! We do have a flask run scheduled tomorrow (into scholo, making ~30 flasks), so any who can come please help out! Sunday, March 12th by Erturco We all had a pretty good time in AQ40, with a sole attempt on the first boss ending with him at 50% and us dead. W e also farmed some MC afterwards and got 3 great purples: Bracer of Might to Rekkr, Girdle of Prophecy to Corse, and Night slayer Belt to Silver. We also go about 9 cores to divide amongst those building their FR suits. If you don't show up, you can't get the goods! Thursday, February 2nd by Erturco ZG Tonight (possibly). I guess that is wha t happens when you have a warlock start the raid (considering that every other class starting it precipitates warlock drop s). 0 warlock drops, several arcanist/giantstalkers/earthfury/prophecy/nightslayer pieces. Hawt. Tonight we will be trying to divide into two 25-man raids for Onyxia. If we can't find the right makeup, we will just do one single raid. Peons have all the fun... PvP, MC, BWL. Apparently we're popular enough to be lumped in with the superguilds on ho rde-side in a comic strip! We had an excellent raid through MC tonight. Total time for Lucifron through Garr was a smooth 1h53m. Some nice drops showed up, including *another* Robes of Volatile Power and a Drillborer Disk.
Saturday, January 21st by Erturco Wow, what a week for the Peons (and still more to achieve). We dropped Hakkar earlier in the week, and last night we dropped Razorgore on our 3rd attempt. AWESOME stuff, the stuff that photos can best describe. Loot off Razor was bindin gs of transcendence (to tirenach), nemesis bracers (to ravak), and gloves of rapid evolution (to nakigga). Friday, January 20th by Erturco Prepare for Ony/BWL tonight! We will be rolling out of Orgrimmar around 8:20, killing Onyxia 8:30-8:50, heading to STV for the run speed buff turn in of a Hakkar trinket, then to Kargath to start the BWL raid. Busy night, but I think we should drop Razorgore tonight if people are on their game. And don't forget, taking it in the butt is less painful than s queezing out a bowling ball from your cooch. We'll turn in the head in Orgrimmar, drop the bitch, portal to UC, and put in 3 attempts at Razorgore. Saturday the 21st is MC, which will include some serious Ragnaros sessions. We have ZG tonight at 7pm CST, then MC Tomorrow night, Onyxia Wednesday, and BWL Razorgore practice on Friday night. Saturday will be MC/Ragnaros again, so be prepared! We need some serious Greater Fire Protection pot farming to support all this stuff we are doing. It's a busy PvE week, but we have time for PvP always. After Onyxia on Wednesday, we will check for a world boss to be up for a possible secondary attack. DKP was updated for MC, so check your points! Wednesday, January 4th by Erturco Thanks to the patch, we killed Onyxia before MC last night (instances were all reset). The good news is that we can kill her again tonight, because her first instance reset was 8 hours after we killed her. Meet in Orgrimmar at 7:15pm CST for head turn in and departure to DWM at 7:30pm CST. In additional news, some decent drops last night from Ony/MC. From memory, Onyxia dropped a Helmet of Ten Storms, a Black Dragon Sinew, an Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire, and a Stormrage Cover. Grats to Brayn, Mooneagle, Tirenach, and Bullvy respectively (I hope I got those right). I don't remember much of the MC drops, but I do know we got Gauntlets of Might (Joile), Striker's Mark (???), Fire Runed Grimoire (Gwright), Giantstalker's Leggings (???), Tome of Tranquilizing Shot (Kehl because it was funny), and a few other goodies. Sunday, January 1st -- 2006! by Erturco Happy New Year! I commend all of you Peons who chose to be total geeks and sit at home for roughly 5 hours of raiding on New Years Eve! We had some great loot drop, 22 purples from MC & a few more from Onyxia. Our first Ragnaros attempt, and we got him to about 61%. Not bad considering it was a journey into the unknown for us! I would like to point out the following important event coming up -- Guild Meeting on Tuesday after MC. Please be there as we will be discussing guild goals and other fun stuff. Onyxia went down again on the first try, although with some difficulty due to a few unfortunate events. Still, all in all we got some great loots out of this run. Last night, we had some fun running Peons AB groups. Lots of good practice against several VERY good PvP groups. Tonight is MC (Luci/Mag) at 8:30 CST (departure time). Be in Kargath by 8:10p CST for potion handouts! In addition, we will mirror the patch on this site under the "Downloads" link in the header. Saturday, December 10th by Erturco Onyxia went down again, last night. This time, we took her out with just 31 Peons. The Dragonstalker's Helm dropped (went to Wobel), a Halo of Transcendance (went to Tirenach), an Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire went to Hownow, 2 Onyxia Backpacks (one to Lanor, one to Thatt), some random blues, and a big smelly Onyxia Head went to Baurvandil! Congrats to all! We spent only ~20 minutes in there this time, so it was a fast and effective effort by all. Today we will get prepared for a 2pm Server Time departure into MC. Friday, November 11th by Erturco Wow, what a night last night. We dropped Onyxia on our second attempt with some ease, and everyone was elated with the loot! We got a Tier 2 warlock helmet, a DeathBringer, Sinew, backpack, Ony head, a very nice ring, and some other crap I don't remember. All in All, I think we've overcome our coordination problems that were preventing us from finishing off phase 3. Great job goes out to Lanor, who has tanked this bitch for so long it hurts to think about it. Good job all! See you in her lair next week! Wednesday, September 21st by Erturco An excellent time was had at last night's MC run, with some much needed Arcanist gear dropping. We cleared from the entrance to Geddon (where we left off Sunday) in about 30 minutes. From there, we bulldozed MC and dropped Golemagg in just over 3-hours total from start to end. We decided to put in a quick attempt on Domo, which we let him win to boost his confidence. No MC until 10/02/05, so put your PvP gear on and let's rock the house in AB/AV! Also, we will be running some farming sessions and other instances to get some variety into our diet -- ZG, UBRS, BRD, etc... It's shaping up to be a fun week and a half. Tuesday, September 20th by Erturco I know a lot of people are kind of bored with MC, so I'm pleased to announce that we will be taking a 1-week break from MC after tonight's second-half MC Raid with Illuminati. I'd like to see everyone either take a little break and unwind some from the massive PvE schedule we've been undertaking. I would also like to extend invites to all guildies to show up for our AB PvP sessions over the next week and a half. AB has proven to be TONS of fun, and I think it will be an exciting change for everyone to experience. Lets get back to our Peons roots -- PvP! Monday, September 12th by Erturco We've adjusted our MC schedule so that we will be doing all 8 main bosses on Sunday. We are saving Domo/Rag for Tuesday, and we have put Onyxia raids into the Thursday timelot. This should give us the maximum farming potential, as well as creating some different events for people to attend based on their interests. Sunday, August 28th by Erturco We've hit a new record time in MC -- 5 bosses in 4 hours w/ no wipes! Great job all, especially on the Baron Geddon fight. Peons and Illuminati plowed through Lucifron, Magmadar, Gehennas, Garr, and Baron Geddon with ease, bringing a healthy host of cenarion and felheart drops. We also had quite a few earthfury pieces come out today. It was a good mix of gear for a great run. Be there Tuesday the 30th at 8pm CST for Shazzrah, Sulfuron, and hopefully Golemagg. Friday, August 26th by Erturco On our 3rd week in MC, Peons/Illuminati clear all 8 bosses in MC. Time to spawn Domo! We have this planned for Saturday, the 27th of August at 2pm CST. I plan on migrating some of these pages (with the help of BigT and others) to the php framework used in the rest of the site. We will also dynamically seek certain information and update it using a modular setup. The first ones to be done are the link-up to the Yahoo Group for our raid calendar.
